School of Creative Industries and Culture Employability Hub

About BRIDGE

BRIDGE is the Employability Hub for the School of Creative Industries and Culture at DMU, connecting students, staff, employers, alumni and partners through placements, live briefs, industry projects, internships and creative career opportunities.

Our purpose is to make employability more visible, accessible and embedded within the student experience by linking academic learning with real-world practice across the creative industries and cultural sector.

Supporting Creative Careers
BRIDGE supports students to build professional confidence, develop industry-relevant skills, strengthen portfolios and gain meaningful experience that prepares them for graduate careers, freelance work and further study. We work across a wide range of disciplines, including media, communications, design, arts, culture, humanities and digital creative practice.

Working with Employers and Industry Partners
For employers and external partners, BRIDGE offers opportunities to collaborate with talented students through live projects, placements, internships, mentoring, guest talks and partnership activity. We aim to build relationships that support student employability, industry engagement and creative innovation.
